Auto-Mouse - Let your PC play while you can’t.

Filed under: Video Games and Consoles — Animefanatik at 11:14 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2006

auto mouse role play gamesArtificial Intelligence AI, has become more than a science fiction movie… a reality, you can see it on cars, personal computers, web applications and also new generation cell phones. But what do you thing about some device that plays your online role playing games, while you’re out?

Korean gamers are know by its dedication to role games, just remember that men that died after 50 hours playing, so in order to help those extreme games-fans “Cheating devices” appear on the market as a solution for the hunger of experience points.

Joy Mac is one of those cheating tools, an USB device that works on “RF Online” cheating the game server playing with our character with a repeating task… searching a monster, killing it, picking up the money and items, recovering strength, etcetera … Joy Mac looks like a portable USB storage with a flash memory chip and electronic circuits inside. It can grab video signals transmitted between the PC and the monitor, and analyze the signals to make a judgment.

From my point of view, those devices are good enough if our goal is to sell a character, but if your gaming skill are as good as mine, then auto-mouse only decreases the playability value of role play games, making a game a daily task instead of a entertainment time.

Filed under: Video Games and Consoles — Boza at 4:04 pm on Monday, March 27, 2006

Make your own video gameEveryone who enjoys video games has most likely wondered how they are made, and more importantly how to make their own. The Blitz Reseach company has answered the call for a programming platform specifically for game development (in both 2D and 3D). Let me be the first to inform you that the Blitz platforms are not One-Click solutions to game development, and the user must first learn their BlitzBASIC language to utilize their product. However, BlitzBASIC is an extremely simple programming language that has all aspects of game programming covered, such as sprite generation, collision detection, GUI features, and much more. The only drawback is that this is a Commerical product, but it is modestly priced and quite affordable for anyone. Check out their site and download a demo.

Duct TapeYou’ll never guess what a model, a sled-dog driver and Veterinarians have in common yes Duct Tape. With the help of historians, engineers and scientists forbes.com compiled a list of the 20 tools that have most impact human civilization one of them was Duct Tape; other tools highlighted on the final list have been around for ages: the knife, the abacus, the compass.

Duct Tape was invented in the early 1940s by scientists at Permacell, a division of the Johnson & Johnson Co., duct tape was built to fill the need for a strong, flexible, durable tape that could help the war effort, according to Avon, Ohio-based Henkel Consumer Adhesives, one of the world’s largest makers of the stuff. PS3 Will be Region Free

Filed under: Video Games and Consoles — Animefanatik at 9:10 am on Thursday, March 23, 2006

Thanks to all gamers on the world, our prayers has been listened by Sony’s executives, and this amazing news I found on IGN and now its time to share it with all of you.

As Sony announced at GDC 2006 this move was made in order to help combat piracy and prevent users to modify their consoles with a mod-chip that causes a loss in the console’s guaranty.

This Region free standard will also allows game developers and publishers to spread their games around the globe giving the game-fan an option to play the game in different languages.

The only issue that this region free may have is the TV set. Some countries use PAL, others NTSC, so, we hope Sony’s engineers made something for it. However we saw how crackers add a crack to old PSX games making PAL games fit on NTSC consoles.
